i've been keen to this event since it was launched in 2007, way back when i was in pontian... it is a great opportunity to my students to challenge themselves in their vocabulary

this year i got the opportunity to send my school debaters to participate in this event...

although they are not make it to the final, but i know they put a lot of courage to face the challenge...

but it is not an easy way to go for the final as they provide with so many words, jargon and technical term that hardly we use everyday...so at last...a student from IJ Convent win the 1st prize and representing state of JOHORE for this year...congrats to her...

this is the first step for my students to be able to enter this kind of competition..as i teach them to learn more words, this event may help them to experience new environment that are different from the school enviroment...
